We are recruiting for a Marketing & Placement Broker for a well-established insurance brokerage in Calgary.

Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Placement
Market new and renewal commercial submissions, negotiate competitive terms, and secure optimal coverage solutions for clients.

Collaboration
Work closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, and insurer partners to align placement strategies with client objectives.

Portfolio Support
Manage timelines, follow up on underwriting requirements, and ensure smooth execution of placements and renewals.

Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance markets to support long‑term capacity and pricing stability.

Process & Compliance
Maintain accurate documentation,



adhere to corporate procedures, and support operational consistency across placements.

Desired Skills

Minimum 3–5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.

Strong understanding of underwriting, coverage analysis, and insurer negotiation.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Solid communication skills and confidence working cross‑functionally.

Industry designations (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM) considered an asset.
