SALARY
Approximately $30.50- 35.50/hr - Breakdown Below:

Regular Pay: Approximately $28-32/hr(Based on the Piece Work Below)

Monthly & Quarterly Bonuses: Approximately $2.50-3.50/hr (Paid in lump sum based on hours worked)

Piece Work: Paid for work done during shift

Deliveries

Additional $1.28/hr for Every Hour Worked based on bonus achievement- Delay Time at Hourly Rate

SHIFT
Afternoons Monday to Friday. As a new employee, you will start on afternoons (Start time between 2PM-4PM) for at least 6 months.

Overtime Eligibility
This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable labour laws and pursuant with collective agreement. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Transporting goods between various Labatt or third-party facilities.

Completion of all EDVIR requirements as laid out by the MTO.

Participation in safety conversations and development for the Labatt driver pool.

Engage in physical activities and manual labor as requested, including but not limited to: prolonged standing,



walking, lifting pushing, twisting, pulling and bending.

Lift object up to 80 lbs.

Climb a ladder/stairs.

Work on slippery floor.

Lift object higher than the shoulders.

Operate motorized equipment.

Exposure to vibration.

Ability to wear all PPE as required: including safety shoes, glasses, bump cap, hearing protection (jewelry must be taken off)

Able to work shift work (Day, afternoons, and nights)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 1 year accident-free AZ licensed driving experience.

Must provide recent CVOR and clean driver’s abstract.

Ability to operate a manual transmission an asset. Ability to operate 53’ Quad equipment including dolly legs, SPIF Axle, barn doors.

Experience with B Trains is an asset.

Ability to conduct thorough and well-documented EDVIR as required by MTO.

Strong understanding of MTO Hours of Service regulations and adherence to restrictions.

Familiar with Ontario geography.

Experience with heavy haul applications and material handling equipment.

Excellent customer service skills.

Mechanical and technical knowledge an asset.

Ability to max out driver hours every weekend with paid overtime

A unionized position with full-time hours AND uniforms provided, including: pants, shirts, jackets, PPE and boots.

Very consistent schedule (i.e. daily start/finish time).





Activity-based pay and a monthly/quarterly bonus.

Full-time unionized positions with benefits available once probation period is complete, pending available spots in the union (Usually after 10-12 months of work).

Pay increases after joining full-time unionized position (approximately 7.5% rate increase), as more opportunities for growth that come with paid incentives!
