Become an Online Learning Math and Science Educator with School District 71, promoting creativity and critical thinking among students. Facilitate enhanced learning through advanced online platforms.

This temporary position offers 0.40 FTE support focusing on Chemistry 11 and Accounting 11, meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays. You will create dynamic online courses and foster a collaborative learning setting in Comox Valley.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement diverse online learning courses
• Interact regularly with students online and in person
• Conduct assessments for learning and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Provide tutorial support tailored to individual learning needs




• Utilize tools such as Brightspace and Teams to engage learners

Requirements:
• Experience in online learning environments and course design
• Certification in secondary education, especially in math
• Advanced classroom management skills in a virtual setting
• Ability to adapt instruction for students requiring I.E.P.s
• Passion for innovative teaching practices and lifelong learning
