The Role This is a field-based, hands-on leadership role focused on residential solar installations. You’ll be responsible for the electrical scope of projects, ensuring systems are installed safely, correctly, and in compliance with all codes and standards. You’ll also work closely with installers and helpers, guiding execution on-site and ensuring high-quality delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing Leading Electrical Installations You’ll handle the electrical side of residential solar projects, ensuring all systems are installed according to code and design specifications. Ensuring Quality & Compliance You’ll verify wiring, grounding, and system integrity, ensuring everything is safe, compliant, and ready for inspection. Team Coordination You’ll work alongside installers and helpers, providing guidance and ensuring productive execution on-site. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving You’ll identify and resolve issues in the field to keep projects moving without delays.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum

1 year of experience in solar installations

Experience in residential solar electrical work

Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards

Ability to read plans and schematics

Hands-on, reliable, and detail-oriented

Comfortable working in field environments

What Success Looks Like

Safe, code-compliant electrical installations completed consistently and efficiently

Systems installed correctly the first time, minimizing rework and delays

Strong coordination with crew members, site supervisors, and project managers

Jobs completed on schedule, meeting daily/weekly installation targets

Clean, organized worksites and proper handling of tools and materials

Accurate reporting of completed work, issues, and progress (Teamwork or similar tools)

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in the field quickly

Consistent adherence to safety standards and company procedures
