Position Overview:
To promote the Lodge as a premier meeting and eventdestination and to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction across allconferences, weddings and group tours. To act as the central point of contactfor all group events and weddings, providing strategic operational oversight.To lead the flawless delivery of hotel events and functions while developingand maintaining strong client relationships and managing departmentalperformance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Consultwith clients to define event requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Developcreative menus, décor concepts, activities, and tailored packages to exceedclient expectations.

Designand distribute detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) outlining all eventspecifications,



and maintain a weekly schedule of upcoming functions for alldepartments.

Manageall aspects of venue, F&B;, rentals, and staffing coordination before,during, and after events.

Resolveon-site issues and last-minute changes promptly and professionally.

Ensureall events meet CRMR's quality standards and client expectations.

Respondto sales inquiries, conduct site inspections, and actively promote the Lodge asa meeting and event destination.

Workclosely with the Calgary Sales Office on all contracted group bookings andproposals.

Identifyopportunities to upsell services, packages, and amenities to maximize revenueper event.

Buildand maintain strong long-term relationships with repeat clients, weddingplanners, and corporate event organizers.

Preparepost-event billing, reconcile event costs, and share client feedback reportswith the General Manager.

Maintainorganized, up-to-date records for all clients, contracts, and functions.

Monitordepartmental performance and contribute to budget planning and cost managementfor the Meeting & Events department.

Assistwith set-ups and teardowns of weddings and conferences when needed.

Directlysupervise, mentor, and develop the Meeting & Event Coordinator, providingclear direction,



regular feedback, and performance support.

Delegatetasks appropriately and ensure the Meeting & Event Coordinator is supportedin day-to-day operational and administrative functions.

Fostera collaborative, service-focused team culture aligned with CRMR's standards andvalues.

Participatein the onboarding and training of the Meeting & Event Coordinator

Perform any otherduties as assigned by the General Manager

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 yearsof experience in event planning, hotel operations, or hospitality management

Exceptionalcustomer service orientation with a client-first mindset

Strongleadership, project coordination, and organizational skills

Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills for managing both client and teamrelationships

Budgetmanagement knowledge

Diploma ordegree in Hotel Management, Event Management, or a related field (asset)

Must have aflexible schedule to work evenings when needed.

Physical demandsinclude sitting, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 30 lbs).
