Support the Aging Well Clinic at Southlake Health as a full time Occupational Therapist in Newmarket, ON. Engage with seniors through hybrid and in-person care while providing comprehensive assessments and collaboration.

This role is vital to enhancing the quality of life for geriatric patients at our clinic. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral member of a clinical care team, providing consultations and developing strategies for improved health outcomes. You will work closely with both Geriatricians and Nurse Practitioners while fostering relationships with community health providers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough assessments of geriatric clients
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration within the care team




• Facilitate community connections for patient support
• Implement evidence-based practices in therapy
• Provide counseling to patients and their families

Requirements:
• Must be registered with the appropriate college
• Master’s degree in Occupational or Physiotherapy needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience with older adults
• MOCA certification required or must be obtained
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
