Responsibilities
- Review and approve monthly financial statements and analyze financial performance.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial information.
- Oversee internal controls and accounting documentation.
- Lead and support the accounting team while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Participate in external audits and special projects, including acquisitions and property integrations.
- Act as a financial business partner to operations and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 15+ years of accounting experience, including team management.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Experience with Hopem is an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Solid organizational skills, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative leadership style and ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
