We are hiring for a Full-Time/ Part-Time Butcher Apprentice with a wage range of $15.00 - $18.00 at our location in Stony Plain, AB.
Job Duties/Responsibilities: Assist butcher team in cutting and wrapping meat products
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
Prepare special orders as per customer’s request
Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience
What you Bring: Positive, can-do personality
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
Experience with the craft of butchery is an asset
Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development
