This position not only supports meal preparation but also allows you to supervise and instruct students in their culinary tasks. The successful applicant should have at least a Grade 12 education and be in the process of obtaining a Red Seal Cook Certificate, along with a Food Safe Certificate. Three years of kitchen experience is required, complemented by strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students learning food preparation
• Prepare daily breakfast and lunch meals
• Order and manage kitchen inventory
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
• Oversee cash register transactions

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid inter-provincial Journeyman Cook Certificate (or working towards it)
• Food Safe Certification
• Minimum three years of institutional/commercial food preparation
• Effective communication skills
