FV Gleaners rescues surplus and unmarketable vegetables and, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, turns them into a nutritious dehydrated soup mix sent as humanitarian aid around the world in Jesus’ name — and we’re looking for a Production Assistant Manager to help lead our plant floor day to day, working alongside our Production Manager on workstation setup, product flow, quality control, and volunteer supervision, with a clear (though not automatic) path to growing into a Production Manager role of your own within about a year; this is a physical, active role that requires a valuable level of fitness, including the ability to move heavy barrels and be on your feet for extended periods,



and we’re looking for a friendly, practical, reliable team player with leadership skills, a heart for using their gifts in service of others, and mechanical aptitude is an asset; you’ll also need to be willing to sign FVG’s Statement of Faith, complete a Criminal Record Check, and obtain First Aid, Food Safe Level 1, and Forklift certifications within the first month if not already held. The position is full-time with a salary range of $56,000-$63,000 to start.
