Elevate your career as a Records and Information Officer with PavCo’s legal team. You'll ensure effective management of sensitive data while safeguarding compliance with BC's privacy laws.

In this essential role, you will report to the General Counsel and direct the Records and Information Management (RIM) program. Your focus will be on aligning PavCo’s operations with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and enhancing organizational compliance through collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Freedom of Information requests with precision
• Lead Privacy Impact Assessments for regulatory compliance
• Guide staff on best practices for data management
• Manage electronic and physical records efficiently
• Develop and refine the RIM program continually

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of practical experience with FIPPA
• Certification in records management or privacy governance preferred
• Strong knowledge of ARCS and ORCS frameworks
• Experience in a public sector setting is beneficial
