Richelieu Hardware is looking for a

Industrial Wood Coatings Paint Lab Technician (or Color matching Specialist)

for the

Winnipeg branch .

Main responsibilities of the position are to

Custom Color Mixing proficiency

Provide color matches services for customers – meeting rush requirements

Maintain formula/recipe data base

Support sales force with technical expertise and product application

Strong wood finishing technical aptitude

Familiar with viscometer, gloss meter, light box, film thickness meter, etc. for testing coating products

Prepare samples

Ability to lift to 50lbs.

Responsible to maintain quality and safe work practices

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Woodcoatings Industry

Aptitude for matching colors

Good Color Vision

High level of self-motivation, self-direction, and self-discipline

Excellent written, verbal communication and strong inter-personal skills

Good organizational and time management skills
