Make a difference in the Town of Minto as a Water-Wastewater Operator. This full-time role focuses on the operation and compliance of essential water and wastewater systems vital to public health.

You will play a key role in maintaining the Town’s water infrastructure, reporting directly to the Water Services Manager and Wastewater Services Manager. This position requires proactive engagement in operational monitoring, maintenance tasks, and effective customer interactions to uphold community best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate municipal water and wastewater treatment systems
• Conduct sampling, testing, and regulatory compliance
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs




• Maintain records and assist with customer queries
• Work with heavy equipment and specialized tools as needed

Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma
• Valid Class G Driver’s Licence necessary
• Relevant Water Distribution and Wastewater Licenses
• Robust focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
