Franchised GM dealer, Bray Motors is seeking an Auto Body Technician for our Collision Centre in Sundridge. We are looking for a dedicated, motivated, hard-working individual to become part of our team! The ideal candidate is dedicated to quality workmanship and strives for customer satisfaction. The Auto Body Technician is responsible for diligently repairing and servicing customer vehicles to ensure both customer safety and satisfaction while contributing to overall departmental success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received
Prepares vehicles for body repair work
Notifies management of any additional repairs needed or of any difficulties preventing a quality job or cause a change in the promised time
Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment
Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles




Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Other tasks as assigned
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Excellent communication skills with customers and other team members
Upholds the dealerships’ standards and values so that the customer is fully satisfied through every interaction
Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs
Excellent time management skills, customer service and interpersonal skills with an engaging and upbeat attitude
Organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to document customer needs
Basic computer skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Valid 310B Autobody & Collision Repair certificate or 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice
Valid Ontario Diver License in positive standing
2+ years experience in a licensed auto body shop would be an asset
Possess a strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs
