The Associate Underwriter, Residential Mortgage will report to Senior Manager, Residential Mortgage, and assist in residential mortgage underwriting and relevant operational activities.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Prepare reports, files and documents in support of the Residential Underwriting team function
Follow up on administrative requirements of the loan process
Compile various monthly/quarterly reports
Assist in underwriting of residential mortgages such as document collection, screening and compilation
Analyze and report the Bank's loan data as needed
Upload consumer data, documentation follow up and gathering
Other duties as required by Department
Job Requirements Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business or finance; or equivalent experience in financial services or a related field
Work Experience Requirements: 1-2 years of work experience preferred, ideally in Canadian financial institution
Robust communication skills (verbal and written)




Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Extreme attention to detail
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and to interact with all levels
Ability to prioritize, perform well under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines
Proven ability to work well with others
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Proficiency in both English and Korean is an asset
