Transform lives as a Registered Dietitian Diabetes Educator at Windsor Essex Community Health Centre. This full time temporary position focuses on delivering essential nutritional support and education to individuals managing diabetes.

As part of our dedicated team, you will assess client needs and develop comprehensive nutritional plans. Engaging with a diverse client base, you'll not only provide dietary guidance but also work alongside other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective diabetes self-management. Your role is pivotal in fostering healthier communities through education and client support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nutritional evaluations for diabetes clients
• Develop individualized nutrition education plans
• Support clients in adopting healthier eating habits




• Participate in inter-professional team collaboration
• Conduct community outreach to promote services

Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in diabetes nutrition
• Thorough knowledge of diabetes management
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food from a recognized university
• Membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Working towards or holding Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) status
