Responsibilities

a Food Counter Attendant keeps the front counter and food prep area operating efficiently. These tasks are foundational to delivering fast, consistent service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked workspace throughout every shift.

- Keep records of the quantities of food used to support accurate inventory tracking
- Package take-out food orders promptly and correctly
- Portion and wrap foods according to standard serving sizes
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items for customers
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a focus on speed and accuracy
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure product availability throughout the shift
- Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed
