Clinical Nurse Specialist / Practitioner - Respiratory | Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist or Allied Health Professional (AHP) with specialist knowledge and experience in respiratory care to join our team at Farnham Hospital.
This is an exciting prospect for a motivated clinician to provide high-quality, patient-centred respiratory care across the service. You will work as an autonomous practitioner, undertaking comprehensive assessment, clinical management and review of patients with a range of respiratory conditions, while supporting the delivery and development of the service.
You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, carers and other healthcare professionals to promote effective self-management, improve health outcomes and reduce avoidable hospital admissions. The role will include providing specialist advice, education and support to patients and colleagues, contributing to clinical pathways and supporting service improvement.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team. You will be committed to evidence-based practice, clinical excellence and delivering compassionate care.

Provide specialist respiratory intervention and support the multidisciplinary team with assessment and development of holistic management plans.
Assess respiratory patients with a wide range of presentations, including complex physical and psychological conditions.




Demonstrate knowledge and experience in the assessment and management of multiple respiratory conditions, including:
COPD
Asthma
Oxygen therapy
Be familiar with and apply local and national clinical guidelines relating to respiratory conditions.

The role is based within Frimley Health, at Farnham Community Hospital. The service covers North-East Hampshire, Farnham and Surrey Heath.
