The SCDSB is looking for a part-time Educational Assistant to assist students and contribute to their development. This position requires collaboration with a team to create a positive learning environment. Successful candidates will have a degree or diploma in the human services field and familiarity with behavior management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with feeding, toileting, and movement needs
• Collaborate on implementing behavior management strategies
• Assist children with ASD and communication needs

• Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in human services related areas
• Certification in BMS and strong communication skills
• Organizational skills and ability to work cooperatively
• Knowledge of AAC and assistive technology preferred
