Journeyperson Electrician / Lead Hand MXS Electric Inc. – Kamloops, BC
$45–$50/hour + benefits + vehicle/travel reimbursement
MXS Electric Inc. is looking for an experienced Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician to join our growing team as a Lead Hand.
This is a hands‑on field position focused primarily on multi‑family construction, renovations, service upgrades, and residential construction. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership of the electrical work on a project, and provide leadership to apprentices and other team members.
This is a outstanding opportunity for an experienced electrician who is ready for more responsibility and room to grow, without the administrative burden of running their own business.

What You'll Do Lead electrical work on a multi‑family construction project
Perform and oversee electrical work on renovations and residential construction
Complete service upgrades
Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Coordinate with other trades and contractors
Troubleshoot and solve problems in the field
Direct, mentor, and support apprentices
Organize daily work and communicate material or project needs
Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and workmanship
Work independently and make sound decisions in the field
What We're Looking For Red Seal Construction Electrician
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
Strong knowledge of the current Canadian Electrical Code




Experience with residential construction and renovations
Experience with service upgrades
Ability to work independently and lead a small crew
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Reliable, organized, and self‑motivated
Good communication and teamwork skills
Pride in quality workmanship
Physically capable of construction electrical work
Assets Multi‑family construction experience
Commercial or industrial experience
Experience coordinating with other trades
Occupational First Aid
Fall protection, lift, or other safety certifications
Experience reading electrical drawings
What We Offer $45–$50/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Full‑time, permanent position

Primarily local work in Kamloops and surrounding areas
