Sales Arborist & General Manager - Tree Services company Location: Milton (Base of operations) / Mississauga, ON | GTA & Halton Region (Service areas)

Compensation: CA$75,000-$85,000 per year , based on experience, qualifications and overall fit
About the Role The Real Tree Masters is a growing professional tree services company serving residential, commercial and municipal clients across the GTA and Halton Region.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Arborist / General Manager to take a hands-on leadership role in growing and operating the business.
This position combines arboriculture, sales, estimating, client relationships, operations and team leadership . You will be involved from the initial client consultation and estimate through scheduling, job execution and follow-up, while helping build the systems, team and processes needed to support continued growth.
This is an opportunity for an experienced arborist who wants to move beyond estimating and sales into broader business leadership.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Development Conduct site visits, tree assessments and consultations with residential, commercial and municipal clients
Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, scopes and job plans
Build and maintain strong client and referral relationships
Follow up on leads, estimates and opportunities and help drive profitable sales
Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and services
Operations & Job Planning Review job scope, access, hazards, equipment, crew requirements and timelines




Coordinate closely with office staff and field crews to ensure jobs are properly planned and executed
Review completed work, client satisfaction and operational issues
Help improve scheduling, estimating, job costing and day-to-day operating processes
Support crews and field operations when required
Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach and support arborists, crew members and other team members
Set clear expectations around safety, quality, productivity and professionalism
Help recruit, train and develop team members as the company grows
Promote a strong culture of accountability, teamwork and safety
Business Management Work with management to establish and monitor sales, revenue, profitability and operational targets
Track key business and operational metrics and identify areas for improvement
Help develop and implement processes and systems that allow the company to scale
Take ownership of problems and work with the team to find practical solutions
Represent TRTM professionally with clients, employees, partners and the wider industry

What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in arboriculture / professional tree services
Strong understanding of tree removals, pruning, rigging, tree risk,



equipment and job planning
Previous experience in sales, estimating or client management
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of job costing, productivity and operational requirements
Excellent communication, organization and follow-through
Ability to make sound decisions independently and take ownership of results
Comfortable working with both clients and field crews
Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation
ISA Certified Arborist designation is strongly preferred
TRAQ, PHC or other relevant certifications are an asset
