Join Simplot Canada as a Plant Maintenance Supervisor in Portage La Prairie. This role is critical for driving maintenance planning and operational efficiency.
As the leader of the Maintenance Planner team, you will be responsible for organizing and scheduling maintenance tasks across the plant. Your expertise in the CMMS will assist in training others and ensuring all work is correctly planned. You will interface with multiple stakeholders while enforcing Food Safety and Quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee proper planning/scheduling of maintenance tasks
• Maintain equipment information in the CMMS
• Train staff on data review and system use
• Coordinate PM program and outage planning
• Track plant downtime and reporting needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• 5+ years in maintenance roles
• Experience in team leadership is preferred
• Knowledge of food processing maintenance is beneficial
• Technical training in relevant areas is a plus
