Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations, the Quality Manager coordinates and oversees all quality-related activities for both plants - the Granby plant and the Sainte-Sabine plant- while maintaining close collaboration with the Production department and the company's various other departments.
Profile required Independence, a methodical approach, resourcefulness, leadership, and availability. Ability to work under pressure, motivate teams, and travel between the two plants as needed.
Coordinate, supervise and audit production quality activities at both plants, located in Granby and Sainte-Sabine;
Analyze production operations, identify quality issues and develop action plans in collaboration with the relevant teams, monitor their implementation through completion and ensure that results are maintained;
Act as a resource person for all quality-related matters, analyze critical cases and propose appropriate solutions;
Provide technical support to production lines to guide decision-making regarding material quality;




Support and train current employees on quality matters, and contribute to the employee evaluation process in this regard;
Participate in technical projects and contribute to the execution, support and documentation of technical testing;
Recommend improvements aimed at continuously optimizing quality;
Provide cross-functional support to other departments within the company;
Prepare reports for management and participate in meetings;
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that equipment is maintained properly and efficiently;
Perform any other duties directly related to the position.
Prerequisites College diploma (DEC) in industrial engineering or quality management;
Minimum of five (5) years of quality assurance experience in the manufacturing sector;
Experience in inspection and quality control within a manufacturing environment;
Experience in process improvement within a similar industry;
Knowledge of applicable quality standards, including ISO and AS9100 standards;
Knowledge of the construction and cabinetry industries (an asset);
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
