The Mainframe & Database Services group is in search of a seasoned programmer to manage and enhance the z/OS Connect and IMS systems. Your role will include collaborating closely with architects and developers, ensuring the system is efficient and well-maintained. Off-hours support is a key requirement of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain z/OS Connect and IMS infrastructure
• Support products related to z/OS Connect and IMS
• Assist engineers and analysts in system improvements
• Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed
• Collaborate with multi-department teams on projects
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience in Mainframe systems
• Understanding of z/OS platform and architecture
• Familiarity with components such as CICS and Db2
• Knowledge of SMP/E and performance tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
