Valard Construction's Distribution group is in need of skilled Journeyperson Powerline Technicians to manage the installation and maintenance of both overhead and underground systems. As a crucial team member, you will report to the Construction Foreman and actively contribute to protected work practices while mentoring less experienced staff. This hands-on position will utilize your expertise in energized work and system testing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain power distribution equipment
• Execute advanced system switching protocols




• Mentor and support apprentices in safe work practices
• Document safety compliance and daily operations
• Conduct regular inspections and reports

Requirements:
• Journeyperson Powerline Technician certification (434A or Red Seal)
• Direct experience in utility construction settings
• Valid Driver's License required
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics
• Desirable certifications in safety management
