Help students excel in swimming as a part-time Swim Abilities Instructor at Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools for the 2026-2027 year. You will provide specialized instruction on Fridays to improve swim skills.

Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools is hiring a Casual Swim Instructor to work from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Applicants must possess First Aid and Lifesaving Instructor certifications. Prior experience in youth instruction and solid swimming skills are strongly preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct personalized swimming lessons for students
• Assess and address individual student swim needs
• Foster effective communication with students and parents
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during lessons
• Maintain documentation of student swimming achievements

Requirements:
• Current First Aid certification
• Lifesaving Instructor qualification
• Experience teaching youth swimming skills
• Strong swimming and verbal communication abilities
• Completion of a criminal records/vulnerable sector check
