Axis Family Resources is seeking both casual and full-time caregiver supports for its Specialized Supportive Housing. This role revolves around building trustful, supportive relationships while helping individuals attain their personal goals related to education and daily living skills. The ideal candidate will possess patience, empathy, and the ability to set healthy boundaries, ensuring a nurturing atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals with social and educational development
• Cultivate strong, healthy relationships through trust




• Focus on a trauma-informed practice in all client interactions
• Engage in daily life skills programming and activities
• Maintain a safe and supportive workplace for individuals served
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in Community Services or similar
• 1-2 years’ experience in social services preferred
• Familiarity with trauma and behavioral needs
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Reliable transportation and valid BC driver's license
