Wage: $48.13 per hour + benefits according to Union collective agreement (full-time position)
Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area and Province of Ontario
Job Description: Concrete finishing, cutting and coring concrete
Curing concrete, apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces, balconies and other structures
Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Checking, setting forms that hold concrete in place
Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issues
Pouring, smoothing and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float and screed
Operate power vibrator to compact concrete
Install anchor bolts, steel plates in freshly poured concrete
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:



Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.
Job Requirements: 3 years experience in concrete work
Technical knowledge of concrete properties
Ability to follow instructions
Team player with a positive attitude
Capable of working in a quick-paced labour-intensive environmentMust be able to lift 50 lbs without strain
Proficiency with hand/power tools to smooth, level, and cure surfaces
Precision and attention to detail
Punctual and willingness to work long hours and Saturdays if required
