Our client is a well-established technology company whose pricing and promotion software is used by some of the world's largest consumer goods brands. Its products help brands and retailers make data-driven decisions about how shoppers find value every day.

The Role

We're looking for a Front End Engineer to build features across a suite of React/TypeScript SaaS products in the retail analytics and promotions space. You'll work on both established applications and early-stage products still taking shape, shipping interfaces that are fast, reliable, and enjoyable to use.

You'll join a small, team-oriented front-end team where your work is visible and has real impact. Expect meaningful ownership, a startup pace backed by the stability and resources of a large organization, and an AI-assisted development workflow.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build high-quality user interfaces in React and TypeScript across multiple SaaS products, from concept to production.
- Own features end to end: discovery, scoping, implementation, testing, release, and post-launch iteration based on user feedback and data.
- Partner with back-end engineers to integrate REST APIs and ensure correct data flow, performance, and reliability.
- Use AI coding assistants to speed up development and explore solutions while maintaining code quality and security.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and take part in code reviews.
- Prototype and refine UI/UX with Design and Product, and contribute to shared component libraries and design system patterns.




- Champion accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility, and monitor and optimize front-end performance.
- Stay current with the React ecosystem and bring practical ideas that raise the bar for the team.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional front-end engineering experience building production web applications.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production.
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals and experience with modern build tools such as Vite or Webpack.
- Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar) and client-side data fetching and caching.
- Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs, including handling authentication, error states, and loading flows.
- A track record of writing tests and shipping reliable, maintainable code in a collaborative codebase.
- Proficiency with Git and team workflows (pull requests, code reviews, CI).
- Clear communication with cross-functional partners, including Product, Design, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to use AI tools in the development workflow with sound judgment and a focus on quality.
- Ability to work PST hours.

Nice to Have

- Daily hands-on use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
- Experience with testing tools such as Vitest, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Background in data visualization or analytics UIs (D3, Recharts, Vega) and comfort handling large datasets in the UI.
- Experience contributing to or maintaining shared component libraries or design systems.
- Open-source contributions or a public portfolio of code samples.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
