Nor-Can Ventures Ltd. is looking for a motivated E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Intern to join our retail flower shop team in Kelowna, BC .
This is an in-person, hands-on internship designed for a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional who wants practical experience in e-commerce, SEO, digital marketing, inventory management, product merchandising, and website operations.
What You’ll Do You will help manage and improve our online e-commerce store, including:
Updating products, pricing, descriptions, images, categories, and seasonal collections
Managing online inventory and coordinating product availability with the physical store
Supporting SEO through keyword research, page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and product content optimization
Assisting with Google Search Console, website analytics, and performance monitoring
Supporting digital merchandising and seasonal campaigns such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, weddings, holidays, and other key occasions
Helping improve website navigation, customer experience, and online conversion opportunities
Supporting online promotions, digital marketing activities, and e-commerce growth initiatives
Identifying opportunities to improve website traffic, product visibility, customer engagement, and online sales

Experience with e-commerce platforms, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Canva, Excel, Google Sheets, inventory systems, social media, or basic website editing is an asset, but not required.
$22/hour during the initial 3-month probationary period with 12 months contract; plus employee medical perks after probation.
A performance review will be conducted after probation, with compensation, responsibilities, and potential continued employment reviewed based on performance and business needs.
Work Location This is an in-person position because the role involves coordinating the online store with physical inventory and day-to-day retail operations.
Starting Date As soon as possible.
