Join the Government of Nunavut as a Training & Development Consultant in Iqaluit. You will play a key role in enhancing training programs that support workforce development.

This position reports to the Manager of Headquarters Training and Development with a focus on developing and assessing effective training strategies for GN departments. You will utilize your expertise to guide managers in attracting and retaining talent while managing training resources. A recognized degree and relevant experience are required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement training programs across departments
• Promote training initiatives and leadership programs
• Provide expert advice on human resource development
• Supervise casual staff and mentor trainees
• Control financial resources for program support

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related fields
• At least two years of relevant development experience
• Solid knowledge of Inuit communities
• Bilingualism is advantageous
• Experience in northern or cross-cultural settings is a plus
