Enhance safety and efficiency in mining with Vale Base Metals as an Underground Mine Trainer in Voisey’s Bay, Labrador. This role focuses on instructing miners in essential safety and operational practices.

As part of the People & Community Department, this permanent job requires relocation and operates on a 2 week on/2 week off rotation. You will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training that meets the industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring workers are well-prepared.

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruction on mining equipment and operational safety
• Develop and implement training programs for diverse needs
• Mentor employees on effective underground mining practices




• Evaluate competencies and qualifications of trainees
• Deliver safety orientation to all site personnel

Requirements:
• At least 8 years underground mining experience
• Proven operation of various mining equipment
• Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification preferred
• Robust facilitation and communication skills
• Class 5 provincial Driver License required
