- Controls Ltd is currently hiring Instrumentation Journeyman and Instrumentation Apprentices for projects located across Edson, AB area. Positions are both local and camp/loa based work. Shifts will vary depending on the project.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients.

Positions Being Hired For

- Site Superintendent
- General Foreman
- Foreman
- Lead Hand
- Instrumentation Journeyman
- Instrumentation Apprentice (3rd or, or 4th year)

Requirements

- Journeyman Instrument certificate, OR
- Registered Instrumentation Apprentice (3rd, or 4th year), OR
- Previous instrumentation construction and maintenance experience working within the Industrial Oil &
- Gas sector would be considered an asset
- Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals Certificates
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have a versatile work schedule - shift work, overtime, weekends, and travel




- For local positions - applicants located outside of the shop area must be willing to relocate to be considered
- For camp/LOA positions - applicants may be required to commute to site and/or shop locations
