Role Description: The IT Application Control (ITAC) Specialist in MS Azure Architecture and Oracle ERP applications will design, implement, and review IT application controls within cloud and ERP environments, ensuring compliance, security, and operational reliability. The specialist will create and maintain detailed technical documentation, support audits and control assessments. This is a remote contract role that requires close coordination with distributed teams across different time zones and the ability to deliver high-quality work independently.

- Automated CI/CD and change management: ability to read and interpret engineering change artifacts (BRDs, design docs, user stories, pull requests, pipeline definitions) and trace a proposed change through the repository structure, build and release pipelines, deployment gates, and feature flag configuration to identify precisely what is changing and where.
- Cloud (MS Azure) infrastructure and containerization: Working understanding of cloud-hosted, containerized architectures (Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, infrastructure-as-code, environment promotion) sufficient to follow architecture diagrams and configuration repositories and articulate how a change is built, deployed,



and propagated across environments.
- Financial systems integration: ability to follow data lineage from platform and transactional systems through interfaces, APIs, batch jobs, and data mappings into billing, subledger, and ERP/general ledger layers, and document the nature of a change and its downstream impact on financially relevant data flows based on direction provided by the controls team.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in MS Azure architecture, including secure design, configuration, and management of cloud services and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP applications (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP), including configuration, workflows, and application controls.
- Proficiency in IT application controls design and testing, including access management, change management, configuration controls, and automated business controls.
- Knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (such as SOX, ISO 27001, COBIT) and experience supporting internal and external audits.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes, translate them into control requirements, and produce clear technical and functional documentation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams including IT, security, finance, and audit stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Skilled certifications such as Azure certifications, Oracle ERP certifications, CISA, or similar credentials are considered an asset.
