Atkinson Construction is hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters, including Red Seal certified tradespeople, to join our Grande Prairie field team.

What you will do
- Complete commercial carpentry work safely and efficiently
- Perform concrete formwork, foundations, framing and general carpentry
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and site instructions
- Complete layout and assigned work with limited supervision
- Install backing, doors, frames, hardware and other carpentry components as required




- Work alongside Superintendents, Foremen, apprentices and labourers
- Help maintain workmanship, productivity and housekeeping standards
- Provide practical guidance to less-experienced team members when required
- Identify field issues early and communicate them to site leadership

What we are looking for
- Alberta Journeyman Carpenter Certificate or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Relevant commercial or multi-residential construction experience
- Demonstrated ability to read drawings and work independently
- Experience with formwork, foundations, framing or related commercial scopes
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Strong attendance, reliability and communication
- Commitment to safe, professional work
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

This is a Grande Prairie-based position requiring reliable attendance at local project sites. Applicants must currently live within commuting distance or be committed to relocating before starting.
