Lead Software Engineer

Loraverse is a studio operating system for visual storytellers. Filmmakers, agencies, and studios use it to write, previsualize, generate, and sign shots with verifiable content credentials.

We are a small, founder-led team building at the intersection of creative software, generative AI, and media infrastructure. As Loraverse expands across professional studio and enterprise environments, we are looking for a senior engineer to take a leading technical role across the product.

This is a hands-on role working directly with the founders. You will lead key technical decisions, remain deeply involved in implementation, and help shape the engineering team and practices around you.

What you will do

Lead the technical direction of Loraverse. Own architecture and engineering decisions across the product, balancing speed, reliability, maintainability, security, performance, and cost.

Build and ship the product. Work across the stack, from backend systems and infrastructure to the interfaces filmmakers use every day. Take features from technical design through implementation and production.

Design reliable generative AI infrastructure. Loraverse integrates image, video, and audio models across multiple providers. Build the orchestration and abstraction layers that make these systems reliable, observable, interchangeable, and enforceable at the product level.

Own cloud architecture and production infrastructure. Make informed decisions across compute, storage, databases, networking, deployment, observability, resilience, security, and cost as the platform scales.

Own security and enterprise engineering. Lead technical decisions across identity and access, auditability, secrets, data protection, infrastructure security, incident response, and the security requirements of studio and enterprise environments.

Own provenance and content credentials. Lead the systems that make generated and edited media verifiable, including signing, manifests, certificate infrastructure, verification, and our implementation of standards such as C2PA / Content Credentials.

Represent Loraverse technically. Work directly with customers,



technology partners, infrastructure and model providers, and external engineering and security teams. Lead technical conversations around architecture, integrations, infrastructure, security, data handling, and deployment.

Help build the engineering organization. Establish strong engineering practices, make pragmatic technical decisions, and help hire and mentor engineers as the team grows.

What you bring

- 6+ years of experience shipping production software, with experience operating as a senior or lead engineer.
- Strong production experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and modern web architecture.
- Strong experience designing and operating production cloud infrastructure, with sound judgment around security, reliability, performance, scalability, and cost.
- Experience owning systems in production, including deployment, observability, debugging, and incident response.
- Strong systems and architecture judgment, including the ability to make pragmatic decisions about complexity, technical trade-offs, and when to build versus buy.
- Experience integrating and operating third-party APIs, platforms, or infrastructure as part of a production system.
- A solid AI-assisted engineering practice. Tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar are part of how you work, and you understand both where they accelerate development and where they require careful review.
- Strong product judgment and an interest in building software for creative professionals.
- The ability to operate with significant autonomy in a small, fast-moving team.
- Strong technical communication. You are comfortable representing engineering in conversations with customers, partners, vendors, and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

- Experience with video, VFX pipelines, NLE or DAW plugins,



DAM systems, media asset infrastructure, or broadcast technology.
- Experience with signing, certificates, PKI, watermarking, provenance, or content credentials.
- Familiarity with C2PA / Content Credentials.
- Experience with security, compliance, or vendor-risk requirements in enterprise environments.
- Experience integrating licensing SDKs, entitlement systems, or rights-management infrastructure.
- Experience with Tauri or Electron.
- Experience with GPU inference infrastructure or generative AI providers.
- Experience building systems that orchestrate multiple AI models or inference providers.
- Experience integrating with studio, broadcast, or enterprise media systems.

How we work

We are a small team, so engineering is close to product. You will work directly with the founders on what we build, how it works, and where we invest technically.

We use AI-assisted development extensively, but engineering judgment remains the standard. Code is reviewed, tested, understood, and owned like any other production code.

We value engineers who can move quickly without losing sight of architecture, security, reliability, or the people using the product.
