Legacy/BAU Program Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Legacy/BAU Program Manager to join a high-impact technology organization and lead a portfolio of initiatives focused on legacy systems, business-as-usual (BAU) operations, process improvement, and technology transformation.

This is a highly collaborative role that works across Technology, Business Operations, Product, Engineering, and Change Management teams to improve existing systems and processes while driving strategic transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong program leader with hands-on experience in Agile/SAFe methodologies, cross-functional program management, and executive stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience managing complex technology or business programs/projects.
- Proven experience with technical implementations, process improvement, transformation, standardization, or simplification initiatives.
- Strong experience working with Agile methodologies, preferably Protected.
- Hands-on experience with SAFe Program Increment (PI) Planning and cross-team Agile coordination.
- Experience managing global or geographically distributed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with VP-level or senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of program scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery management.




- Experience using JIRA and Confluence or similar project/program management and collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.
- Demonstrated experience delivering measurable business outcomes through transformation or process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with legacy application modernization or BAU technology environments.
- Experience in enterprise technology transformation.
- Experience supporting Sales, Business Operations, or other large-scale business functions.
- Experience with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), PI Planning, Epics, Capabilities, Features, and User Stories.
- Experience with enterprise project/program management tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
