ETL Automation QE Job Type: Full Time Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Onsite / 4 Days Primary Skills: Selenium, Java/Python & Robot Framework, API & SQL Testing Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Quality Engineer to join the quality assurance team.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for critical financial systems across both frontend and backend environments.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java or Python with Robot Framework .

Design and execute backend and API testing strategies, including database validation using SQL.

Identify test scenarios, define automation priorities, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Identify, document, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and quality issues.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor test execution, analyze results, and optimize automation framework performance.

Maintain transparent test documentation, automation standards,



and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in test automation.

Strong proficiency in Selenium with Java or Python with Robot Framework .

Strong SQL skills for database validation and query development.

Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and backend testing.

Experience with Git and version control systems.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Dev

Ops, or similar.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with multiple automation frameworks.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Performance testing experience.

Financial services domain experience. ISTQB certification or equivalent.
