Our client in the residential property management industry is looking for a Receptionist to join their team on the temporary basis.

Advantages Start: October 8th, 2026 Duration: October 8-19 2026 Hours: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM, office is closed on Thanksgiving Pay: $21/hour Responsibilities Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere by greeting and assisting visitors warmly, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming inquiries, ensuring efficient routing and timely follow-up for both internal and external communications.
Redirect calls as appropriate and take accurate messages when required.
Calmly and professionally address and de-escalate situations involving irate residents, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills.
Welcome and direct visitors to the appropriate team members or meeting rooms.
Maintain the reception area to a high standard, ensuring it is always tidy, organized, and visually appealing for both visitors and team members.
Distribute incoming mail and ensure proper postage for outgoing mail.
Prepare and type various documents, including correspondence, lists, and fax cover sheets, purging labels as needed.
Prepare, track, and coordinate all courier deliveries.
Monitor and replenish office and lunchroom supplies, submit orders as needed.
New employee onboarding o Name plate Check all Xerox print/copy/fax stations periodically throughout the day; distribute faxes, replenish supplies (paper) as needed Monitor general neatness of meeting rooms and tidy up as needed.
Qualifications 3 to 5 years experience in a receptionist position within the service industry.
Preference: experience in Property Management environment.
