Akelius owns rental apartments in Recent York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Austin, Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa, Paris, and London.

Job Description The leasing agent is responsible for leasing apartments and providing exceptional customer service to ensure maximum occupancy and resident retention.

The successful candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on peoples lives.

He or she must demonstrate a commitment to anticipating and exceeding the expectations of residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain an effective marketing strategy for vacant units.

Coordinate showings from all marketing sources.

Effectively lease vacant apartments and reduce vacancies through individual appointments and open houses.

Be responsible for compiling complete application files, preparing leases, and handling all aspects of the move-in process.

Enter prospect data into all required management systems.

Stay informed about pricing, products, and incentives offered Proactively identify necessary changes based on current trends and market competition.

Maintain close contact with clients and deliver a compelling final presentation.

Perform other assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:



1 to 3 years or more of experience in residential leasing.

Bilingual in English and French required.

Availability including weekends required.

High school diploma (DES) or equivalent (GED) required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail.

Creative and an excellent negotiator.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and time management skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Organizational and administrative skills.

Availability to work weekends, as needed or directed.

Experience with Yardi is a plus.
