John''s area.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy working outdoors, contributing to home-building projects, and supporting skilled trades in a fast-paced construction environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Clean and prepare residential construction sites Load, unload, and move construction materials Assist with foundation tarring and stone work Prepare new home builds and perform site cleanup Mix, pour, and spread materials including concrete Remove construction debris and maintain safe work areas Dig trenches and perform general excavation tasks Shovel stone, gravel, and snow as required Position and secure construction materials Operate light construction equipment and power tools Assist carpenters, concrete workers, and other tradespeople Use standard residential construction tools safely and effectively Complete additional labour duties as assigned by site leadership QUALIFICATIONS Previous construction or general labour experience considered an asset Ability to follow directions and work safely in a team environment Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day Experience using hand tools and power tools is an asset Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic Valid driver''s license required Reliable transportation required, as job sites may not be accessible by public transit PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy materials Frequent bending, lifting, shoveling, digging,



and standing Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions WORK ENVIRONMENT Active residential construction sites Outdoor work in rain, snow, heat, and cold temperatures Exposure to construction equipment, power tools, and noise Working alongside construction crews, subcontractors, and site management Daily oversight and direction from project management REQUIRED PPE Candidates must provide and wear: CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots Hard hat High-visibility safety vest SAFETY EXPECTATIONS Follow all site-specific safety policies and procedures Maintain awareness of equipment, materials, and nearby trades Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately Wear required PPE at all times while on site WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically fit, and eager to contribute to residential construction projects.
