Hub - Bitbucket Migration Engineer - Dev

Ops, CI/CD & SCM Roles & Responsibilities Analyze Bitbucket and Git

Hub repositories, branching strategies, permissions, and integrations.

Support application-to-repository mapping and migration readiness assessments.

Execute repository analysis, validation, and migration support activities.

Identify repository dependencies, build configurations, webhooks, and pipeline integrations.

Support migration and validation of CI/CD pipelines to Git

Hub-compatible workflows.

Troubleshoot migration issues related to repositories, permissions, integrations, and pipelines.

Develop scripts/utilities for metadata extraction, validation, and migration automation.

Collaborate with developers, Dev

Ops, security, and platform teams; document findings, risks, and remediation plans. MUST Have Skillsets 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Dev





Ops, Platform Engineering, SCM Administration, or Release Engineering (10+ preferred).

Strong hands-on experience with Git, Git

Hub, and Bitbucket.

Experience supporting source code repository migrations or SCM platform transitions.

Robust understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and Dev

SecOps practices.

Hands-on exposure to tools such as Git

Hub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent pipeline platforms.

Proficiency in scripting/programming using Python, Bash, Power

Shell, or Groovy.

Understanding of repository integrations, build tools, artifact repositories, and security controls.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
