About the Role Our client is currently hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator to join their production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating brake press machinery to manufacture hollow metal doors and frames according to work orders, blueprints, sketches, templates, elevations, and production specifications.

Key Responsibilities Set up and safely operate brake press machinery to perform bending and forming operations.

Use standard and custom punches and tooling according to production requirements.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, sketches, templates, elevations, and technical specifications .

Ensure finished products meet required specifications, dimensions, and quality standards.

Perform quality control checks on completed work orders.

Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and other measuring instruments .

Verify product height, depth, thickness, and overall accuracy.





Ensure the brake press is properly calibrated and maintained.

Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean, organized, and safe.

Properly pack, label, bundle, and tag finished products when required.

Follow all company health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications & Experience Previous hands-on Brake Press Operator experience. 2+ years of brake press operating experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, sketches, and technical specifications .

Experience working with sheet metal, steel doors and frames, or similar metal fabrication products is a strong asset.

Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
