Shift: Day Shift Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm & Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Core Responsibilities: Set up and use hand tools to remove burrs, sharp edges, slag and surface imperfections from sheet metal parts.

Set up and use sanding, grinding, polishing and finishing tools and equipment.

Deburr, grind, sand and polish sheet metal components after cutting, punching, forming or fabrication.

Visually inspect sheet metal parts, edges, holes, corners and formed features for burrs and imperfections.

Maintain tools and equipment as required.

Handle thin-gauge and precision sheet metal parts carefully to prevent scratches, bending, warping or other damage.

Read and interpret blueprints,



work instructions and finish requirements for sheet metal parts.

All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Previous sheet metal deburring, grinding, sanding or metal finishing experience required.

Experience using files, grinders, sanders, Scotch-Brite, deburring tools and polishing equipment preferred.

Ability to select the appropriate tools and techniques to meet edge-break, cosmetic and quality requirements.

Previous aerospace or military experience preferred.

Previous sheet metal fabrication or job shop experience preferred.
