NOTE: Applicants must attach a resume to their application.JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Health and Community Services, the incumbent provides strategic and transformational leadership to ensure the organization's vision and priorities for population health are achieved through the development, implementation, and evaluation of a regional and provincial strategic plan. In particular, they provide leadership for public health strategies and programs, promoting an evidence-based approach, population health surveillance, and analysis of local needs. The position also ensures the governance, performance, and continuous improvement of the services under their responsibility, rally teams around a shared vision, develops leadership capabilities, and fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and clinical and operational excellence within their team. Against the backdrop of a transforming healthcare system, the incumbent plays a key role in designing and implementing new strategies aimed at providing integrated public health services, improving population health, reducing preventable healthcare needs, and strengthening the system's capacity to intervene early in health issues. In collaboration with internal partners, communities, health care professionals, and government and community partners, the incumbent ensures that public health is positioned as an essential lever for prevention, health promotion, reducing health disparities,



and improving population health outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Master's degree or professional certification in health management or a related field;
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in personal supervision / management;
- Minimum of one (1) year of significant experience in a leadership or strategic leadership role;
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
- Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and other software used within the Network;
- Experience in public health, community health, or a related field;
- Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary, and multi-site programs and services;
- Experience in strategic planning, organizational transformation, and service integration;
- Experience in managing and optimizing financial and human resources and in strategic resource allocation;
- Experience in managing and developing executives, managers, and professionals;
- Experience establishing strategic partnerships with government organizations, health networks, community partners, and cross-sectoral partners;
- Experience representing an organization with provincial or government agencies;
- Knowledge in the following areas: health promotion; the population health approach; health determinants; basic concepts of epidemiology; disease and injury prevention; harm reduction; and current trends and issues in public health;




- Knowledge of the New Brunswick health system and its challenges, combined with the ability to anticipate, analyze risks, and make decisions in complex environments;
- Knowledge of health system integration and transformation, governance, and performance, with the ability to translate strategic directions into measurable results;
- Strategic leadership and the ability to mobilize teams around a shared vision while fostering a culture of innovation, learning, continuous improvement, and accountability;
- Ability to mobilize, engage, and support teams through change management;
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, matrix-based, and interdisciplinary environment;
- Ability to apply systems, strategic and critical thinking;
- Ability to analyze, solve problems, plan, and establish priorities;
- Availability to travel within the territory of the zone and the Network;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Positive previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
