Requisition Title: Senior Program Manager Location: Toronto , Hybrid 3 days a week onsite Project Description: Payments (PRESTO) has a Device Refresh program, which will be replacing all the PRESTO customer and transit agency facing devices (i.e. front end equipment).

This role is to provide procurement program management during the preparation of RFPs to go to market for the new equipment. SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are seeking an experienced and business focused Senior Program Director, with a proven track record of successfully procuring, managing and delivering complex and large-scale technology projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for program managing the program during the procurement phase.

Scope of the CR: Primary Responsibilities: The role can include the following responsibilities, as directed by the VP- Major Transitions and Programs: Working with a broad group of internal and external stakeholders, support the execution of multiple bidding lots to deliver the desired business outcomes Support program, procurement leading to both technical delivery and business transformation Manages program scope, schedule, budget, definition, risk management, and quality assurance Manage risk and issues in a well-structured way across the program through a RAID log and other reporting tools Advises, informs, and reports to senior management on program activities involving Metrolinx, service providers, vendors and other stakeholders; coordinates and collaborates with other Metrolinx divisions as necessary Manages the program partnerships with vendors, service providers, Metrolinx and other stakeholders to administer PRESTOs contracts Manages, tracks and report on the expenditure of program funds budgeted for the delivery of assigned projects; supports negotiations amendments to contractual obligations with vendors Monitors, manages, and reports on program progress to maintain adherence to schedule and budget Leads, coaches, and mentors other members of the program team in project management best practices (e.g.



project scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, safety, etc.

Ensure accountability for the program?s centralized group of projects and their successful full life cycle delivery.

Ensure programs are delivered cost effectively and efficiently, and in compliance with organization?s methodologies, standards and frameworks.

General Skills: Demonstrated experience leading and overseeing program strategy development from inception through to project close-out and any required transition to operations, business planning, perks identification and organization funding requests for I⁢ programs.

Demonstrated experience understanding and articulating I⁢ executive expectations and translating into program deliverables Experience directing, managing and leading multidisciplinary project teams including multiple Project Managers, each responsible for an element of the project and associated matrix team members Experience monitoring and managing the cost, risk, schedule, governance, technical performance, and program impact of each of the component projects Experience providing a program/portfolio view of project inter-dependencies and external project dependencies,



monitoring and reporting on exposure levels Exercises a range of leadership responsibilities including the role of coach and developer of talent Experience developing complex budgets based on multiple funding channels and cross organization dependencies.

Experience analyzing program and organization?s environments to identify potential risks and issues; articulates and prioritizes issues and risks to senior executives; recommends mitigation strategies to decision-makers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule Uses significant innovation in the planning, analysis and execution of tasks Experience directing stakeholder consultation, facilitation and consensus building.

Provides program, portfolio, and/or project reporting to multiple stakeholders Experience leading strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change and capitalize on forces in support of change Experience seeking new and unique business processes, technologies and products to benefit programs, portfolios and projects Experience supervising the development and communication of program related updates including through media relations, social media etc.
