Friday, 9: AM6: PM (1-hour lunch) About Our Client Our client is one of Torontos most innovative and leading construction companies, specializing in high-quality residential developments with a strong focus on architectural quality, innovation, and service excellence .

They are currently seeking an experienced Intermediate Electrical Designer with strong residential/building design experience to join their team.

Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems primarily for residential building projects .

Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and specifications.

Use AutoCAD as the primary design software .

Perform electrical load calculations and lighting design.

Design power distribution, circuiting, fire alarm, and security systems.

Perform generator sizing and related electrical calculations.

Coordinate electrical designs with architects, mechanical engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

Ensure designs comply with applicable Ontario codes, regulations, and industry standards .

Conduct site visits and site reviews as required.





Provide technical support and assist throughout the construction phase.

Assist with permit documentation and respond to comments or requests from authorities having jurisdiction.

Qualifications & Requirements 35 years of experience as a Residential/Building Electrical Designer . 35 years of local Canadian experience .

Previous experience working for a Canadian engineering or consulting firm is strongly preferred.

Strong and proven AutoCAD experience is required .

Experience with Revit is considered an asset .

Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), Ontario Building Code (OBC), and applicable CSA standards .

Bachelors degree or other relevant education/background in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related designation is not mandatory but would be considered an asset. A valid drivers licence is required.

Must be able to reliably commute to Scarborough, ON .

Solid communication, coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Experience specifically with residential buildings and building electrical systems is highly valued.
