Position Summary-

SAP Environment & Cutover Release Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, governing, and executing environment management, release management, cutover activities, dress rehearsals, and production deployment readiness for the SAP S/4HANA transformation program. Single point of accountability for ensuring environments, releases, transports, deployment activities, and cutover tasks are aligned across business, IT, system integrators, and testing teams to enable a seamless and low-risk go-live.

- Define and govern workplace strategy across all SAP landscapes (DEV, QA, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod).
- Ensure environment availability and readiness for testing and deployments.
- Manage environment refreshes, data provisioning, and configuration synchronization.
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve environment-related issues.
- Maintain environment schedules and usage planning across workstreams.

Release Management

- Establish and govern release management processes and deployment controls.




- Manage transport migrations and release deployments across environments.
- Govern release scope, readiness, and implementation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with change management and quality standards.
- Track release risks, dependencies, and production deployment approvals.
- Develop and manage the overall cutover strategy and master cutover plan.
- Coordinate cutover activities across business and technology teams.
- Define cutover runbooks, task sequencing, checkpoints, and escalation paths.
- Monitor cutover risks, dependencies, and milestone completion.
- Lead readiness reviews and deployment governance decisions.
- Plan and execute cutover simulations and dress rehearsals.
- Validate timelines, resource readiness, rollback plans, and deployment procedures.
- Ensure business, technical, and support teams are prepared for go-live.
- Conduct production readiness assessments and stage-gate reviews.
- Validate completion of all pre-go-live readiness activities.
