We are currently seeking a Senior JAVA Full Stack/AWS Developer - Remote Canada Role. to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with AWS to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise across backend and frontend technologies, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, and modern software engineering practices.

The role requires close collaboration with architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and Dev

Ops teams while providing technical guidance and contributing to architecture, design, development, testing, and production delivery.

Day to Day Job Duties Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end enterprise applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.

Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.

Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using React or Angular.

Design and deploy cloud-native applications and services on AWS.

Integrate applications with internal/external APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and AWS services.

Develop event-driven and asynchronous solutions using AWS and messaging technologies.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Develop and optimize SQL queries and application data-access components.

Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.

Troubleshoot application, API, cloud, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Collaborate with Dev

Ops teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.

Participate in technical design, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and release planning.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and enterprise application development. 4+ years of experience developing Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed applications. 3+ years of experience with React or Angular, Java

Experience with Amazon EKS/ECS and containerized Microservices.

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS Cloud

Formation.

Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka.

Knowledge of AWS IAM, security, networking, and secrets management.

Experience with application monitoring and observability using Cloud

Watch, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or similar tools.

Understanding of secure coding and cloud security best practices.

Experience with automated testing and CI/CD-based deployments. AWS Developer or AWS Solutions Architect certification is preferred.

Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other enterprise environments.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions.

The starting pay range for this remote role is $83,334.00 to $120,616.00.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all Canada locations.

Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidates actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.

If the position offered is temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
