Job Description
The Technical Project Manager will support a major platform upgrade within a complex banking environment.

This individual will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of multiple related technical workstreams, defining project scope, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders.

This is a hands-on project delivery role for someone who understands technical systems and can lead projects in a complex banking setting.

The successful candidate must be able to independently structure and drive technical projects from initiation through delivery.

Responsibilities
• Lead the planning and delivery of projects within a major technology platform upgrade.
• Help establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and governance.
• Coordinate related projects and technical workstreams within the broader platform upgrade.
• Identify, track, and manage dependencies across technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other projects.
• Work with technical teams to understand system impacts, identify delivery risks, and support the diagnosis of project or platform issues.
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, dependency tracking, and executive-level presentation materials.
• Facilitate project meetings and clearly communicate decisions, risks, progress, and required actions.
• Support Agile delivery while applying the appropriate level of project governance and structure.




• Present project updates to senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Ensure stakeholders remain aligned on scope, priorities, timelines, risks, and delivery expectations.

Help stand up new projects and establish the processes, documentation, and governance required for successful execution.

Skills and Requirements
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting technology initiatives.
• Experience delivering projects within banking or financial services.
• Strong technical project delivery experience across platforms, infrastructure, applications, data, or systems transformation.
• Demonstrated experience defining project scope and taking projects from initiation into execution.
• Strong experience identifying and managing cross-project dependencies.
• Experience supporting projects with multiple technical workstreams and stakeholder groups.
• Practical knowledge of and experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience preparing and presenting clear project updates to senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently drive deliverables.
PMP certification or equivalent demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects. • Experience supporting platform upgrade or modernization programs.
• Experience with pricing, billing, data warehousing, or data platform initiatives.
• Previous technical, systems, infrastructure, development, or business systems experience.
• Experience working in a consulting environment or alongside systems integrators.
